Privacy policy
This is a placeholder version pending legal review. It will be replaced by the final policy before launch.
This privacy policy describes how AuthenTeko ("we", "us") processes personal data of visitors and clients of authenteko.com. It is provided to comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
This is a placeholder version pending legal review. Companies, contact details, and retention periods will be filled in by our legal counsel before launch.
What we collect and why
Identity and contact data
Name, email, phone — collected when you submit the configurator, contact form, or create an account. Lawful basis: contract performance and pre-contractual measures.
Trip preferences
Answers you give in the configurator — used to design and price your itinerary. Lawful basis: contract performance.
Booking and supplier data
Information needed to confirm bookings with our partners on your behalf (dates, room types, dietary requirements). Lawful basis: contract performance.
Marketing communications
If you opt in, we may send occasional newsletters. Lawful basis: explicit consent — you can withdraw it at any time.
Technical and audit data
IP address, browser, page visits — used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and meet our security obligations. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and as required by Belgian and EU law. Booking-related records are kept for the legal accounting period (currently 7 years in Belgium); marketing data is deleted on opt-out.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the suppliers and processors strictly required to deliver your trip — accommodation providers, transport operators, activity guides — and only the data they need.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (https://www.dataprotectionauthority.be). To exercise these rights, write to privacy@authenteko.com.
For questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@authenteko.com. We will respond within one month, as required by article 12 of the GDPR.
This policy may be updated. We will record substantive changes and the date below; if your previously-given consent is materially affected, we will request renewed consent.
